INVNT GROUP partnered with TEDxSydney to bring their flagship event to life in an online format for over 3,000 registered attendees.
Held last week, INVNT supported the four main stage sessions, which broadcast a mix of talks, performances and films live from a studio in Sydney.
New this year, TEDxSydney served up more than 20 Discovery Sessions throughout the day, which were managed and produced by INVNT. They provided attendees with opportunities to dive deeper into an idea, learn something new, or get up and move – think yoga and coffee demos, plus advice-led sessions on topics like how to pitch to venture capitalists or design a more sustainable future.
“Having worked together on our 2018 and 2019 events, we knew the talented and versatile [INVNT GROUP] team would be able to support us in pivoting our more than 5,000 attendee in-person TEDxSydney event to a unique and memorable online experience,” said Remo Giuffré, founder and licensee of TEDxSydney.
“It was incredibly important we didn’t lose any of the elements TEDxSydney is known for during this process – it’s a place where people come to hear leading and inspirational ideas, share their own thoughts, and connect with likeminded people.”
Laura Roberts, INVNT’s APAC managing director, said Covid had upturned previous plans for an in-person event.
“We’re so pleased to have been able to successfully support Remo and the team in curating and managing an online experience that lived up to TEDxSydney’s status as an award-winning, gold standard event on the global TEDx stage,” she said.
